PRIZES

All qualified entrants (as specified above) will receive a 1-year Skillshare membership. The approximate retail value of 1 year of membership to Skillshare is $165.

In addition, two (2) qualified entrants will receive the Final Prize: a $300 payment that will be applied to your first teacher payment on or around Feb. 16. The Final Prize winners will be determined solely based on the quality of the entry submitted and the skill shown by the teacher. All entries will be assessed by the Skillshare Curation team, and then separately by at least two Skillshare staff members. The entries that best adhere to Skillshare’s Class Quality Guidelines will be selected as the winner. Some teachers will receive coaching from the Skillshare Community team during the Challenge and others will not. One Final Prize will be awarded to a teacher who received coaching and the other will be awarded to a teacher who did not.

The Final Prize winners will be determined on Feb. 2, 2023, and will be notified by email by Feb. 7, 2023. The winners may be required to submit an Affidavit of Eligibility within 5 days of being informed of winning or will be deemed ineligible. If a potential winner cannot be contacted, or if a selected winner cannot accept or receive the prize for any reason, or he/she is not in compliance with these Official Rules, the prize will be forfeited and may be awarded to an alternate winner. No substitutions are permitted except if prize is unavailable, in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be awarded. Prize is non-assignable and non-transferable except to a surviving spouse.

Winners are responsible for all federal, state, local sales, and income taxes. Any other incidental expenses on prize not specified herein are the sole responsibility of winners. Entry and acceptance of prize constitute permission to use winner’s name, prize won, hometown, and likeness for online posting and promotional purposes without further compensation, except where prohibited by law. Limit: one Final Prize per teacher. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during the contest entry period and the number of teachers who do and do not receive coaching.
