Rising Teacher Leap Year 2024 Publishing Contest

Announcing the Rising Teacher Leap Year 2024 Publishing Contest, kicking off on February 29, 2024, and running to March 31, 2024. Acknowledging the particular astronomical significance of this day, we’re starting this contest on Leap Day, and adding a couple of twists. Is it a sprint? Is it a challenge? We’re doing a little bit of both.

Here’s How it Works

  • We’re offering 14 $400 class prizes split between two prize deadlines, March 17, 2024 and March 31, 2024. For both prize rounds, we’ll select the top classes — our Challenge Champs — that best meet our Class Quality GuidelinesPublish early to increase your chances of winning!
    • All Rising Teachers who publish a new class between February 29, 2024 and the first deadline, March 17, 2024, will automatically qualify to win any of the 14 $400 prizes from either prize drop.
    • All Rising Teachers who publish a new class between March 18, 2024 and March 31, 2024 will automatically qualify to win prizes from the second prize round only (7).
  • Additionally, we’ll award 1 weekly $75 prize to our teacher MVPs focused on marketing and promotion! Each week during the challenge, one teacher in Rising Teacher will be selected based on the best tips and strategies shared around marketing their Skillshare offerings in the Rising Teacher Slack.
  • Last, every teacher in Rising Teacher who publishes at least one class that meets our Class Quality Guidelines during the challenge will win 1 year of a Skillshare membership — just for participating! Limit one membership per teacher; awarded at the end of the challenge.
