SKILLSHARE-MOZILLA GIVEAWAY OFFICIAL RULES

 

TERMS & CONDITIONS

No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win this Giveaway. A purchase will not increase your chances of winning. By participating in this Giveaway, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Skillshare, Inc. and that you satisfy all eligibility requirements. Void where prohibited by law.

 

HOW TO ENTER

There are two ways to enter the Giveaway: 

  • (1) Sign-up for a free one-year Skillshare trial at skillshare.com between 10/1/2024, and 10/22/2024, using the coupon code MOZILLA; or 
  • (2) Submit your full name, zip code, and email address via this online form by 10/22/2024. 

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

First-time Skillshare users only (you must not have previously signed up for a free trial or a paid Skillshare subscription). You must be 18 years of age or older. US residents only. 

PRIZES

All eligible entrants will be entered into a giveaway (the “Giveaway”) for one (1) set of the following prizes: 

  • One (1) coupon code good for a 1-year Skillshare membership
  • One (1) 1-year Skillshare Membership Gift Card (which could be shared with a friend or family member, or used for a second year of Skillshare membership)
  • One (1) 45-minute 1-on-1 session with Rise25 winner, Manu Sainsily
  • One (1) coupon code good for a 1-year subscription to Mozilla VPN
  • One (1) coupon code good for a 1-year subscription to Mozilla Monitor Plus

The total value of these prizes is estimated to be $868. The winner will be selected by random drawing. No substitutions are permitted except if prize is unavailable, in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be awarded. Prize is non-assignable and non-transferable except to a surviving spouse. Winners are responsible for all federal, state, local sales and income taxes. Any other incidental expenses on prize not specified herein are the sole responsibility of winners. Entry and acceptance of prize constitute permission to use a winner’s name, prize won, hometown, and likeness for online posting and promotional purposes without further compensation, except where prohibited by law. Limit: one entry and one prize per household. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

Winner will be determined on 10/23/2024 and will be informed by email no later than 10/30/2024.

Participating entrants agree to these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, and release, defend, and hold harmless the Sponsor and its affiliated companies, and all other businesses involved in this Giveaway, as well as the employees, officers, directors, and agents of each, from all claims and liability relating to their participation, acceptance, and use or misuse of prize(s). Winner assumes all liability for any injury or damage caused or claimed to be caused, by participation in this Giveaway or use or redemption of prize(s). Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing or display of the offer, administration of the Giveaway, or in the announcement of the prize(s).

Winner acknowledges the Sponsor and all other businesses concerned with this Giveaway and their agents do not make, nor are in any manner responsible for any warranty, representations, expressed or implied, in fact or in law, related to the quality, conditions, fitness, or merchantability of any aspect of any prize.

In the event of a dispute over the identity of an online entrant, the Sponsor will resolve such dispute in good faith in its sole and absolute discretion. Entry materials/data that have been tampered with or altered, or mass entries or entries generated by a script, macro, or use of automated devices are void. The Sponsor is not responsible for: (i) lost, late, misdirected, damaged, illegible, or incomplete entries; or (ii) error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware, or software malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmission of or failure to receive entry information by Sponsor on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site, or any combination thereof; or (iii) any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participating in the Giveaway. By participating in the Giveaway, you (i) agree to be bound by these Official Rules, including all eligibility requirements, note that the winners may be required to submit an Affidavit of Eligibility within 5 days of being informed of winning or will be deemed ineligible, and (ii) agree to be bound by the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Giveaway. Failure to comply with these Official Rules may result in disqualification from the Giveaway. Sponsor reserves the right to permanently disqualify any person it believes has intentionally violated these Official Rules and cancel the Giveaway if it becomes technically corrupted (including if a computer virus, bot, or system malfunction inalterably impairs its ability to conduct the Giveaway), and to select winners from among all eligible entries received prior to withdrawal. Legal Warning: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN INDIVIDUAL, WHETHER OR NOT AN ENTRANT, TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE, DESTROY, TAMPER, OR VANDALIZE THIS WEBSITE OR INTERFERE WITH THE OPERATION OF THE GIVEAWAY, IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES AND DILIGENTLY PURSUE ALL REMEDIES AGAINST ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

CHOICE OF LAW

This Giveaway shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of New York, U.S.A. without regard to its conflicts of laws provisions. By participating, entrants agree that any and all disputes arising out of or relating in any way to this Giveaway shall be litigated only in courts sitting in New York, NY, U.S.A.

Information provided by you to participate in this Giveaway is subject to Skillshare’s Privacy Policy.
